“The Gartner Digital Markets network has more than 1 million verified user reviews spanning its 750+ software categories. Our sites’ Best badges synthesize those reviews to recognize users’ most highly-rated products in a given software category.”

How do you qualify for a best badge?

  • Category Fit – Products must be confirmed by Gartner’s research analysis and are applicable to the respective categories.
  • Review Rating Count – In order for a product to qualify for a Best badge, it must receive a minimum of 10 published review rating scores, within the specific field that the badge represents.
  • Published Reviews – All reviews received by Gartner are only published after going through their validation, quality and non-duplication processes.
  • Recognition Calculation – Badges are awarded to software companies whose products reach an average review rating score of over 4.5, across all given reviews.
