Key Information

Job title: Solutions Consultant

Objective: Working as part of the Customer team on implementation projects with account management responsibility and contributing to customer support.

Responsible to: Head of implementation

Hours: Normal office hours: 09.00-17.30 (37.5 hours/week)

Employment type: Full-time. Permanent.

Location: Based from Esteiro Offices in West Haddon, Northamptonshire (use of own transport essential due to office location)

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

Deliver new customer implementations and projects for existing customers based on agreed scope and purchased time. Ensure clear pre-sales handover, agree the business objectives and timescales with the customer. Configure the CRM system including mapping of business processes & data requirements. Provide training to customers and demonstrate a good level of knowledge of Gold-Vision functionality.

Follow the agreed project management process, monitor projects and provide regular updates to the client on project progress. Maintain a trusted relationship with the customer, to ensure confidence is maintained throughout the project.

You will deliver projects using a variety of resources on a face to face or remote basis. As a team member and individually you will strive to assess the quality of the customer experience and contribute to improvements to this including underlying processes and online resources.

Customer Relationship Management:

Undertake Account Management for selected customers including design of effective account plans to develop positive customer experience and success:

· Work with clients to assess their CRM needs and requirements in order to determine the best Gold-Vision approach.

· Understand the customer market and business sector to provide appropriate best practice advice.

· Identify, qualify and develop new sales opportunities based on customer requirements and on-going research.

· Provide professional quotations or proposals. Work towards agreed sales targets for revenue for existing customer business.

Customer Support:

Assist with client end user and technical queries, providing solutions and advising customers who will have varying technical knowledge and skills. Demonstrate product expertise and technical knowledge in relevant areas. The role will include assisting with software installations, migrations, upgrades and advising customers on data import processes.

Sales & Marketing:

Liaise with new business team to understand prospect needs and provide knowledge of best practice processes and existing customer industry application of Gold-Vision. Contribute to pre-sales to assist with preparation and carry out demonstrations via web tools, at client sites or at trade exhibitions and discuss functionality with client teams including senior management. Provide professional quotations or proposals for either new business or as part of account management for additional project sales for existing customers.

Contribute to our marketing activity and keep up to date with current campaigns with an understanding of the branding messages plus associated resources. Maintain a good LinkedIn presence with Gold-Vision identity and assist with gaining customer feedback and reviews. Participate in marketing led projects to develop visual content, contribute to online resources and actively initiate customer stories working closely with the marketing team.


· Work closely with support, technical development, sales & marketing teams.

· Undertake other duties which fall within the scope of the post as determined by the management team.

Person Specification:

Education & Experience

· Degree or combined degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Information Technology and/or candidates with relevant business experience.

· We are interested in talking with candidates with potential IT/ Business backgrounds:

– Working in a consultancy focused role with B2B cloud-based CRM and marketing solutions in either a project implementation capacity or consultancy role. Experience in the ERP industry will also be considered. Or have an IT Systems Administrator support role with aptitude and interest to move into a consultancy role.

– Alternatively, hold an internal role including business development or a role managing or co- ordinating sales & marketing systems.

– We will also consider recent graduates who are interested in developing their skills to become a business systems consultant. Ideally you will have some business experience possibly gained during a placement year.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge and experience of working with the following are desirable but not essential; Microsoft Server environment, including IIS; Microsoft SQL Server; Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange; Microsoft Windows and Office, including Outlook.

Ideally candidates will have some web application, database and basic network administration skills to assist with technical problems and liaise with the support & development teams for more technically demanding requests. Relevant training will be provided depending on individual skills.

Communication & Customer Service:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to demonstrate this is essential. You must be adept at or have the potential to effectively communicate and negotiate with senior level decision makers.
