Advantedge are specialists in providing cash flow solutions to UK small and medium-sized businesses to help their businesses grow.  Established in 2001, our business has grown to become one of the leading privately-owned invoice finance companies in the UK. Advantedge have seen a continuous period of growth and are currently providing over £60m of funding support to UK businesses who are seeking flexible and competitive finance for their businesses.

Business need

As a business, we are constantly searching for new approaches to understand both prospects and customer needs. We needed a CRM system that could collect and record our MI (management information) data about our contacts in an easily accessible way.

We wanted a system that allowed us to carry out the ‘deep dive’ analysis we need to continually improve our service. Our new CRM needed to align with our business practices, being flexible enough to enhance, rather than re-write, our internal processes.

How Gold-Vision addressed the challenge

From our first contact with Gold-Vision’s sales team, through to our project consultant, the team took the time to understand what we needed a CRM system to do. They helped us to build a platform which helped, not hindered, our workforce’s ability to complete their day to day jobs.

Efficient and effective implementation

We found the CRM implementation process to be efficient, practical, customer orientated and supportive. From the first call to explain the end to end process, the on-site visits and ad-hoc queries, we found the whole process to be both energising and constructive. It feels more like a partnership than a one-off sale of software.

Dialogue with our project consultant has continued after go-live which has been especially helpful to ensure we make the best use of the tools at hand. Because of the on-site implementation we feel we have a very good working relationship, we have not experienced the “sell & forget” approach” that we’ve experienced with other software companies.

Those working within the support department have continued to be highly engaging with a friendly approach to any query.

What’s next for us

Now we have Gold-Vision in place, we’re looking forward to developing further. We plan on starting with Gold-Vision Campaigns and the email marketing tool, Connect, to improve our customer and partner marketing.
