January 20 saw the first CanadianSME Business Expo take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Boasting numerous exhibitors, talks and panels by key industry professionals, there were lots of opportunities on the day for local businesses to engage with other attendees. It was also a brilliant opportunity for the Canadian team to introduce visitors at the event to Gold-Vision.

We spoke with visitors about their needs and challenges and explored ways in which CRM and integrated marketing could help them achieve their goals. A common desire that we kept hearing from people was to have a system in place that is simple to implement and use but isn’t constrained by limited features and escalating costs.

A standout moment from the expo came from the panel on Global Business Mindset. The panel highlighted how critical it is to absorb information, as well as different traditions and cultural norms from around the world, to implement within their business strategies. This resonated with us and reinforced our own belief as a growing global business in the importance of working with people and understanding local traditions.

We had a great day exhibiting and also had the pleasure of developing exciting new networking relationships with local organisations, including the Toronto Region Board of Trade.
