Gold-Vision 8 design update

Throughout the years, our customers have enjoyed Gold-Vision’s key strengths such as email and calendar tracking, integrated marketing tools and flexible configuration. We have listened to your feedback and suggestions regarding the need for a brand-new user interface, mobile responsive functionality and enhanced enterprise features. Gold-Vision 8 will be the answer to your questions.

So, what's that going to actually look like in the field? Gold-Vision 8 has evolved visually since its original grey and basic emergence and is currently undergoing a final polish before the product is pushed out of the nest. Work is well underway on the menu, item, and list screen refresh, which will be closely followed by the notifications area and finally administration settings.

Quick notice before we jump in: the images included here may look slightly different from the finished product, as Gold-Vision 8 is still in development and minor tweaks will likely be made prior to release.

Let's take a look...

Menu and navigation in Gold-Vision 8

One of the big and obvious changes you will notice is the menu. On desktop and larger screens, the menu will be omnipresent on the left edge of the screen - visible below as a dark grey bar down the left. On mobile devices you will be able to open the menu at the top and use all of Gold-Vision on the go.

The other change to the menu and navigation of Gold-Vision is the addition of a fixed “View” area. In “View”, you can quickly access and create new items from a familiar location.
Selecting a menu group will expand the grey menu bar out to the right and display the options. All users will be able to create their own menus, re-order them and show/hide options. Administrators will be able to create menus for entire teams or system-wide.
