Implementation

We provide a full implementation service that includes a number of elements. Gold-Vision allows you to easily implement in a matter of days, or to take a phased approach. Our experienced team will work with you to ensure that your implementation is planned successfully.

Project Planning

We have designed a clear process to assist you with the planning of your Gold-Vision implementation. Our detailed project pack provides the information and tools for us to manage a successful implementation together. We can also run an initial planning workshop with key users to ensure that there are no queries arising from the planning and that project objectives are clear and shared by the team.

Installation

We install Gold-Vision on your server. There is no additional desktop software – a key factor in reducing the time and cost of roll-outs. Installation is generally carried out by our own specialists, or you can install Gold-Vision with recourse to telephone assistance if you have suitable and available IT resource. Quality of installation is controlled through the use of pre-install and post-install checklists. During this stage we would train IT staff on the technical system administration features.

Data Process Workshop

We will work with you to identify in an organised fashion how you wish to use Gold-Vision, and what we need to do to implement this. Your team’s time will be maximised through the use of the pre-implementation planning documents, allowing you to come to the workshop prepared. The workshop will be conducted by a professional that is highly experienced in business and systems, with the ability to relate to your junior members and executives alike.

Gold-Vision Configuration

This process would typically be merged with the Administrator training. Our wide range of business and product experience can help you make quality implementation decisions. We provide you with templates for the design and documentation of your Gold-Vision configuration.
Specifically, we will work with you to understand your business processes and objectives to configure:

• field labels
• field dropdown options
• standard template documents
• screen modifications
• product / product groups
• users / user group / security parameters

Integration

Gold-Vision provides the capability for interface or integration with other key systems using standard integration tools without the need for excessive consulting effort. Any initial estimates will be refined during the implementation study.

Data Import

Simple data conversion using standard tools can often be achieved during the initial install. These tools are available for you to use and take control of your own data imports. We will work with you to "clean" and import more complex data. If this is provided prior to an install, then this can often also be loaded during the installation. Naturally, we can provide detailed estimates for this assistance.

Project Management

Our own Project Manager will be responsible for project management of our team. You will need to assign your own project manager, likely to be a key member of your staff, who will take on the responsibility for ensuring that activities are completed by your project team.

At the outset, our Project Manager will agree an overall project plan with your project manager. The Project Manager will work with you to co-ordinate the project and monitor progress of activities and individuals with implementation responsibilities.
